Frequently asked questions

Short and honest answers. Pick a category.

General

What is TRACER?

A research tool for Meme Coins. You paste a contract address, TRACER gathers what is publicly known about the Coin and shows every piece of information with its source.

Is TRACER financial advice?

No. TRACER collects publicly available information and shows its sources. Whether you buy, sell or stay away is your decision. Meme coins are highly risky, and a total loss is possible at any time.

Does TRACER tell me whether a coin will become a rug pull?

No. Nobody can predict that reliably. TRACER shows you facts that are often linked to rug pulls, such as a dev with a large share, bundled purchases at launch, or bought reach on X. What you do with that is up to you.

Which chains does TRACER support?

Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon and Robinhood Chain. TRACER detects the chain from the address itself.

How fast is TRACER?

The instant card usually appears after two to three seconds, the report after about one minute. The X check runs in parallel.

Which languages are available?

32, including English, German, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Hindi. You switch the language at the top right.

Data and accuracy

Where does the data come from?

From public sources: the blockchain itself, DEX Screener, CoinGecko, pump.fun, GoPlus, RugCheck, Jupiter, X and web search. Every piece of information shows where it comes from and how old it is.

How accurate are the numbers?

Every number comes directly from its stated source and carries a timestamp, so you can verify it yourself at any time. If a Coin exists on several chains, TRACER calculates the Market Cap across all of them combined.

What does "unknown" mean?

That no reliable source says anything about it. That's not an all-clear, but an open question.

How current is the information?

Metrics update live and carry a timestamp. The report captures the status at the time of the check. Use "Check again" to get a new one.

Account and prices

How much does TRACER cost?

You can try 3 Coins for free. Afterwards Trader costs €19, Pro €39 and Elite €99 per month for 100, 250 or 750 Coins. All features are included in every plan.

What counts as one Coin?

A complete check: instant card, X check and report for one address. Viewing a finished report again later does not count as a new Coin.

Where can I see how many Coins I have left?

In your account under Usage. There you can see how many coins you have checked this month, how many are left, and when the counter starts over.

What happens when my Coins run out?

Then you wait until next month or switch to a bigger plan. Nothing is recalculated automatically.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, online and without a reason, via "Cancel contracts here" at the bottom of every page or in your account. Your plan runs until the end of the paid period, after which nothing more is charged.

Do I need a wallet?

No. You only need an email address. TRACER reads public data and never connects to your Wallet.

Security and privacy

What happens to my data?

We store your email address, your password only in encrypted form, your research history and how often you use TRACER per month. Sign-in runs through servers in Frankfurt. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, at any time yourself under Account, Data and Privacy. Before that, you can download all your data.

Does TRACER ask for my seed phrase?

Never. TRACER needs neither keys nor a seed phrase. Don't give them to anyone, including any tool that asks for them.
